MLT Dance Academy Picture Days are
Sunday, June 2, 2024 (portraits) and Saturday, June 8, 2024 (performance photos).
what you need to know - please read below for an overview of how our
dance photography program works.
Gaby Cavalcanti Photography is looking forward to working with your dancer once again at the 2024 MLT Dance Academy Spring Recital Dress Rehearsal on June 2, 2024 and to capture Performance portraits during MLT Dance Academy’s Spring Recital on June 8, 2024.
Print packages start at $20 / Digital packages start at $45.
Please read below for more information on what to expect, before, on the day of and after picture day.
before portrait day
Pre-register your dancer and complete a short registration form. Only one pre-registration per family is required (just make sure you include the names of any additional sibling dancers when you complete the online form)
WHY PRE-REGISTER?
Pre-Registration is FREE and it lets us know your dancer is coming to picture day.
Families who pre-register get early access to pricing AND to will have access to their images as soon as they are published.
Have the chance to purchase AdvancePay credits (which are applied to your order when you purchase images after picture day).
It ensures all communication about your dancer’s photos goes directly to you. And you have the option to receive notifications via text message in addition to email.
All dancers who Pre-Register and get AdvancePay credits get a special discount when their photo galleries go live.
on picture day - June 2nd
Gaby Cavalcanti and her team will be capturing photographs of every dancer who participates MLT Dance Academy Recital in a separate “photography only” area during dress rehearsal on June 2nd.
When it’s your dancer’s time for photos, an MLT Dance Academy staff member will guide your dancer to the photo area.
Besides capturing each dance group’s photo, Gaby Cavalcanti Photography will be working individually with every dancer for about 2-3 mins.
on performance day - june 8th
Gaby Cavalcanti Photography will be capturing performance photographs during both performances (12:30-2:30pm and 4-6:30pm) on June 17th.
Dancers who participate in these performances will be photographed while they are on stage.
after picture and performance day
Gaby Cavalcanti will select and edit the best photographs of every dancer and the best photographs of each performance.
Selected photographs will be posted to a private online gallery about 3-4 weeks after the Recital.
Parents will receive an email with access to each dancer’s photo gallery where they can select their favorite images AND complete a photo order online. FREE SHIPPING to your dance studio will be available until July 15, 2024 and will be delivered to your studio in early August.
Orders placed after FREE SHIPPING deadline will be subject to delivery fees and will be delivered to your home address. However, galleries will remain online until . After October 10th, a deposit/fee of $35 will be collected in order to reopen your gallery.
Digital orders will be delivered via email within 24 hours of payment.
